“The Bombs over Bornholm” follows a family living on the island of Bornholm during and after WW2.
A local policeman, Johannes Hansen, finds a experimental german wunder-weapon, the V2, on a field on Bornholm. He has to choose between protecting his family, and helping the international resistance by smuggling out intelligence.
When the german occupation finally ends, a russian occupation begins. Johannes Hansens son, Henning, struggles with living up to his fathers expectations.
Both occupations end up having far reaching consequences for Henning, his nephew Pelle Peter Jencel and Bornholm in general.
